So im about 2-3 generations behind, sold my 1080ti, got a 6900xt with waterblock used for $600.. and i think i already found its max oc.. if i do min 2620 max 2720 the card is stable, but any higher it artifacts, memory is at 2150 tight timings, and temps are 47c and 57c on the hot spot. However voltage doesnt seem to do anything.. i turned the power limit to 15%, and i turned the MV to 1080.. but its still reporting it at 1175mv when gaming.. if i slide the slider to 1175mv.. its still at 1175mv... Soooo it seems the voltage slider does nothing.... so is 1175mv ok for a 6900xt ? Id like to keep the card maxed out at 2700mhz core. I get about 8fps more on average this way..
I wanted a 7900xt.. but 900$ was too expensive for me, and i was forced to go to the prior generation.. Im kinda bummed out actually its my first time in 26 years ive gone used 1 generation behind.. but its ok its 3x faster than my 1080ti lol. Wont lie though, i have considered selling it for $650 on ebay... and maybe just saying up 200$ for a 7900xt or something... but then i do have a 3800x cpu and id probly see a nice fps boost with a 5800x 3d
