So I'm on a really tight Budget and I can't afford anything beyond that.

I'm only gonna use this PC for studying (Programming Java, Python, PHP), and learn new skills like becoming a Pro on Microsoft Office Package. No gaming or other unnecessary program/file.

Is 120 GB enough for Windows 10 with all its update?

And now that I'm on that subject, how much storage does Windows 10 (with all its update taken into consideration) take?

Solution

If this is the only drive, No. 120GB is not enough.
If there are other drives, 120GB is marginal, and still not recommended.

Tight budget?
How much is this 120GB costing you, and which one?

$65 for 250GB MX500

Depends what you put on it.
Ideally, you want the OS and applications on it.

My C drive has only the OS and my applications on it. No data files, and especially no games.
~260GB actual used space. The largest piece of that is MS VisualStudio.

I use a 128 GB NVMe drive, which is sufficient for my Windows 7 OS, in fact I also put on a few games I access often.
Most of the games I run are on a 512 GB SSD Raid 0
Most of the movies / music / media I run off a 4 TB mechanical Hard drive.
I do not work on said computer and do not have much professional / CAD SW on it.

I would go with the 120 GB SSD for now as it can hold your OS and your IDE's / programming tools. Additional storage is not hard or expensive to add as long as you are not changing your boot drive. I got a new decent 4TB 7500 RPM HDisk few months ago for 75$ on sale. So keep an eye out, I see storage prices have been falling recently. Good luck
