Is 120mm AIO enough for 8700k

I plan to build a new PC with the intel 8700k but it has been a long time since I've built an intel based PC so I don't know what's best for buisness or ideal temps. I want to avoid air coolers for this build as a matter of preference (unless a good reason is given and the option is on Newegg or amazon.).

My question is will a corsair H50 120mm AIO be enough to run without overclcking? I can get a nice (imo) corsair 460x case that comes with the cooler for half of the cost of a 240mm cooler. Or would I be better off buying the H100i or bigger and changing my case?

For stock clocks it would likely be fine, but so would a cheap air cooler which will last a whole lot longer. If you want a water cooler just to say you have a water cooler go for it, however in my opinion a cheap air cooler say a cryorig H7 would be a more logical choice.

A 240mm water cooler would be totally pointless if you are not overclocking, in my opinion.
