Is 1280 by 1024 HD?

I have a monitor with a 1280 by 1024 resolution and want to know if its HD because I am going to use my monitor to play my original xbox with a component to vga adapter box, but apparently the adapter box supports 1080p and I dont know if the resolution can changed to something lower to work my monitor.

yes it will work, and no 1280x1024 is not HD... 1920x1080 is "HD"

WRONG!!! 1280 by 1024 IS HD....its not 1080 but it supports 720....dont answer if your not sure...it makes u sound ignorant :bounce:

HD is just a marketing thing for tvs. and yes it would be considered "HD"
