Is 16gb needed?

Hi there,

I am building a gaming PC for the new upcoming games that are coming out, and was wonderinv is 16gb of 1600MHz ram neexed? Or is it better to save $60 and get 8gb of 1600MHz ram?

No game I know of will use more than 2-3gb. But, ram is so cheap, 8gb is the sweet spot.
Only get 16gb if you do massive multitasking, or if you have a 64 bit enabled app like photoshop.
