Is 1700x on x470 taichi a good decision?

I have a 1700x. And I want to buy a X470 taichi motherboard (not taichi ultimate) for it. Because I have a future plan. In the future I will buy and use a 2700X in this board. Is it a good decision or not? please suggest me. You can suggest another board with good vrm and stable bios for it. Thanks in advance.........

I'd get new boxed to avoid RMA troublesome, all X470 mobos out there are good VRM design for light OC not LN2 OC, the matter of how efficient each VRM would be another work-around involving how you configure 'em. For gaming focused build, I recommend let Ryzen Master utility decides optimal OC state and keep out motherboard OC utility played by, read mobo's manual carefully before you update BIOS.

Since this is an expensive build, consider power protection (surge protection, decent UPS) on your shopping list

It's a good MB but a bit on expensive side, other one to consider https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-CROSSHAIR-VII-HERO/ but if you don't want/need all he features Asus Prime x470 Pro is doing great job for me for lower price.
