[SOLVED] Is 1st Player PS-650AX good?

Solution
Thank you for your time. But, all those PSU you mentioned are very overpriced here eg: Corsair RM650x is well over USD 200. The only thing I could find decent was Antec HcG750 which is 750W and might be not that efficient for the current specs. But I have plans to upgrade to RTX 3060/3070 when it is available(maybe in a year here). That's why I wanted to go for 650W which seems the sweet spot for the current system and the future upgrades

That's not a problem for modern units really... even with lower power draw these higher end PSUs are really efficient.

When you go below ~80-70W is where efficiency usually tanks... that's true on every PSU though, even lower capacity models.

If that HCG gold is on a decent deal, I'd...
Can't find any review on their 80+ silver unit... there are only on the 80+ gold, which seems to be fine.

Sincerly I'd avoid... you can't trust something until you know what's inside it. Maybe someone else on here has more information onn this model and will chime in... I don't and I can't find any.

If you really want to upgrade I'd be looking at one of these models:

Corsair: RMx or TXM
Seasonic: Focus GX/GM
Superflower: Leadex II/III
Antec: HCG gold

Any of those models would be a significant upgrade from what you have now and from that 80+ silver you want to buy as well. 550W would be enough, 650W recommended if you want some more headroom for future upgrades.

If that HCG gold is on a decent deal, I'd personally go for it... if you think of upgrading to a 3080 a 750W great quality PSU will come in handy.

EDIT: for reference here's the HCG gold 750W efficiency table

Still highly efficient, even at 75W and overall it actually passes 80+ platinum.
