if it is a gddr5 gpu than it is good for gaming and if it is a gddr3 solid for some games but you cant play with it on high
because some sellers tend to sell their 4gb graphics with ddr3 memory and there are 512mb gddr5 graphichs that are a way faster than these ddr3 you should look for a graphic like amd r7 265 1gb or 2 gb 1gb is enough for your monitor and 2 gb for other days
