Hi All

Quick question,

Looking at getting H100i (240mm) and front mounting the Radiator behind 3x LL120 RGB fans that I have, and using the 2 x ML120mm fans that come with the AIO to sit at the top as Exhaust.

Are the LL120 fans sufficient enough at Intake to go through the radiator?

Thanks

Solution
H100i stock fans:
Rpm: 2700
CFM: 77
Static pressure: 4.0mm-H2O
dBA: 37.68

LL120s:
Rpm: 1500
CFM: 43.25
Static pressure: 1.61mm-H20
dBA: 24.8

No way, it's a night and day difference - at full speed, at least.
Lower the speed on the H100i's stock fans, and it isn't as obvious, but unfortunately, most manufacturers don't show fan curves, so one can only second guess as to how the fans will perform at lower speeds.

Even at half speed, I'd think the H100i's stock fans would move more air... plus, to move air through the case's front panel and the rad requires some 'UMPH!', and the LLs won't have it when you really need it.
The more obstacles for airflow, the weaker it is when it finally reaches the parts that need it... IF they get there...

As i have both LL120 triple pack and H100i RGB platinum i would not use LL120 at all for any radiator or cpu heatsink. They are really in my opinion the best looking fans but the performance its not the best. From corsair site:
"Thanks to its innovative design, the ML Series fans delivers both high static pressure and high air flow for a superior fan experience."
High static pressure fans are better for radiators overall. Also ML fans can operate up to 2400rpm while LL up to 1500rpm. If you are looking for RGB then you can buy the H100i RGB Platinum version that have two ML RGB fans for 10-15$ more.

We don't know what your case is either...

Thanks for the reply both, I have a Corsair Spec Delta Carbide Case as below.

The AIO won't fit in the top due to Ram clearance unfortunately, or that would be my first option.

I already have 3 x 120mm LL fans that i purchased to upgrade the stock fans on the case, which is why i wanted to use them and save purchasing 3 x ML Fans which by the looks of it is possibly the only way I can maintain the current look of the case whilst getting the AIO in there.

Just had another thought, not sure if this would be any better at all?

I could potentially use a Push/Pull with the 2xML's attached on the back of the rad with the LL's on the front and keep my current LL140mm as exhaust on top and my LL120mm as exhaust at the back?

Oof.
That front panel serves to favor the H100i's stock fans even more.

That's better than doing the LLs by themselves.

Yes, it's looks great, but the airflow isn't great.

Although the second option may have worked, i think it's best i leave my current set-up alone for now. or purchase an additional ML120 for the front 3 RGB and move 2 of the LL's up top for Exhaust..
