Question is 2060 a good upgrade

Should I upgrade to a 2060 from a 1060 3gb? I play all games 1080p@144hz and I have a i7 6700 and 8gb ram and a 500w psu.

You would be doubling your video memory which is good for "benchmark" games, if you play older games then 1060 is enough, if you upgrade, you will need a better power supply.

Nvidia recommend minimum of 500W PSU for the RTX 2060. You should be fine with the 500W as long it is not a real cheap budget PSU.
