Is 22 MB/s a normal transfer rate for a USB 3.0 32 GB flash drive?

Guys I just upgraded my motherboard for one with USB 3.0 connectors and I noticed that my transfer rates didn't improved comparing them with my previous USB 2.0 motherboard. I'm transferring movies at about 22 MB/s. Are those normal transfer rates for my hardware?

Is a cheap Micro Center 32 GB USB 3.0 flash drive. It doesn't say the model but I see a sticker inside the drive with these numbers:

It has nothing to do with ur PC, flash drives are STILL relatively slow. Check out Tom's USB3 Flash Speed test:

Now you did update the USB3 driver from the Mobo's vendor correct? OK then.

I did a fresh install and the USB 3.0 driver installed correctly.

So, basically is the flash drive's fault and not the PC? It makes sense because my flash drive cost me about $19 at a time that every flash drive of that size would have cost me about double that amount.

Crap, I overlooked that cheap USB drives have slow transfer rates. To see faster performance I need a better USB drive like the Sandisk drives. Thanks guys!
