Question Is 2400 mhz with CL17 a decent RAM?

I saw a RAM (8 GB) that is cheap but it has a CL17 and 2400 mhz. My cpu currently is i3 9100F. Is that a decent RAM? Would I have any stutters when gaming? Btw I only play games on my PC. I don't edit or stream at all.

It’s slow by modern standards but that is less of an issue with Intel. However is this 2x4gb or 1x8gb? This makes a material difference.

Also some games will stuttering with 8gb, it is best to go 16gb if you can.

2400@ 17 is something like 2% slower than the average CL16 so you're not going to notice anything drastic, especially on an i3. If you were into high-end gaming, rendering or heavy streaming then you would want much faster RAM along with a better CPU and probably a hugely faster GPU.

DDR4-2400 C17 is the JEDEC standard, plug and play.

If you have a pre-built computer that has limited BIOS adjustments, it would be the best RAM for the system.
