Hey Guys,
I have a Lenovo Y580 laptop and Im looking into buying an Asus Pb278Q monitor. Im wondering if I will be able to run this monitor at full resolution at 60hz on my laptop through HDMI. I have read that the Pb278Q has HDMI 1.4 which supports 2560x1440 at 60hz, but what Im not sure about is what version of HDMI the lenovo Y580 has and if it will support 2560x1440. Also, I believe the HDMI is powered by the IntelH4000 chipset and Im unsure if that supports the resolution.
Thanks guys, any feedback is valued and appreciated
