It's not. The typical 4K resolution is 3840 × 2160.

To know that I'd contact customer support of the 4K display in question and ask which display modes the monitor supports. It should support since they're both 16:9.

No. 2560x1440 is QuadHD. 4K is Quad FullHD, or 3840x2160.
