Is 3.5 ghz is good enough for Modern Games?

I just bought an AMD FX 6300 6 Core 3.5 ghz with a GTX 1050 2GB. Do I need to overclock my CPU to run a Modern Games? like GTAV, PUBG and Rainbow Six? or leave it 3.5ghz.?

Your CPU is just fine, you don't need an OC-ing.

3.5 Ghz is enough to run almost all the CPU demanding games however I am more concerned about the 2GB VRAM of your GPU which might kill some frames in the demanding games .

You can play gta 5 with the amd processor of 3.5ghz ,far cry4,far cry primal,assassin creed the black flag and call of dutyww2 games ,nfs rivals make sure you have at least 8gb ram
