is 30 watts overkill for case fans?

im choosing which fan controller i would want to buy but i notice that it says 30 watts per channel but on gonna have 1 fan on each channel. and i know that case fans usually draw around 5 watts ( i think) can i go over that? or the extra 25 watts wont do much?
would a ten watt fan controller do me better? and im using 2 140mm and 1 120mm

It's a maximum amount of load per channel, it has no effect on how fast your fan will go and will not damage your fan in any way.
