Question Is 300 euro worth it for this 5 year old pc?

Hi,my friend is thinking for buying himself a new pc and gave me an offer to buy his 5 year old Acer Predator G6-710 for 300 euro,is it a good deal?

Characteristics:​

• RAM 32 GB
• Intel Core i7-6700K
• NVIDIA 1080
• 4tb hdd(Probably going to use them as backup drives and use my new ones from my current pc)
• 250 ssd

He has never overclocked it.

8gb ram
And is now 7 years old,dont want to invest too much in a new pc tho.

As long as it actually works, and you're cognizant of the gaming limitations of the CPU/GPU, sure.
I've seen worse.

Yes. It's a good price.
Building something like this new, would cost probably double that amount.

That whole desktop is selling as a refurbished unit for between $400 and $600, but they typically have an i7-7700 and GTX1070, only a 1TB hard drive.

GTX 1080 sell between $110 and $200
i7-6700k between $65 and $80
DDR4 2400 4x8GB will run about $30-40, Something closer to 3200 will be about $50-60
Motherboard Z170 $60-$80

In Euro it is a pretty good deal.

For around the same money you should be able to find a used AM4 based system but maybe without the GTX1080.
At least that would give you better CPU upgrade options later, just look on your local second hand websites in your area.
