I'm sure there has been about a million of these threads, but could not find any concrete evidence and want to make sure the card is going to be compatible.

CPU: i9-9900k
GPU: (I don't think this should matter lol) Asus 2080
MOBO: MSI Z390 A-PRO
RAM: 16gb 3200mhz
PSU: Thermaltake 850w

Please let me know what other information I can provide to help receive an answer, thanks!

Your specs are really good do not see problem with running i9 9900k with the new GPU and to be honest Prem comment about PCIE 4.0 is worrying hope my 10th Gen Motherboard with 10900k have it because typed in google and it come with this but anyway you do not need to worry am sure the GPU will work fine with your setup now.

While the 10th Gen Intel Core processors will not support PCIe 4.0 connectivity due to signal integrity issues, many of the Z490 motherboards are designed to support the PCIe 4.0 specification. ... The ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E Gaming is our first look at ASUS's new Z490 lineup.

As far as I know, your case might be a limitation if it's not big enough and also, the 3000 series use PCIE4.0 which isn't available yet on intel platforms as far as I know...this is why I'm going with a 3900x AMD build in 5 days
