Question Is 35 c too hot for an iddle Cpu ?

Just built my first computer just update the Bios. I have an i5 9400f and its running 35-38 c on bios i applied thermal paste as a dot. I have a Cooler Master MA410P . Normal temps ?

Okay thanks. I'm new to this. Also have a 3000mhz rams, h310m msi mobo that supports 2666mhz . But my rams are running at 2100mhz on bios. How do i increase the speed to 2666 ? LOL i havent even installed my OS yet btw !

Try taking a picture of your ram sticks, and posting them in a new thread in the memory section. People with more knowledge about modern ram configs should be able to help you out.

Some mobos although support higher frequencies, lock it at lower, turn on xpm profile 2 and take a geez at that.

I mean, mine technically supports up to 4400Mhz, but it was locked at 1800 on a 3200mhz module until I released/OC it.
