[SOLVED] Is 38c to 48c degrees C too hot for idle?

Solution
Ignore idle - make sure the cpu isn't burning up under load.
Ok, don't totally ignore it, but it just so irrelevant with these cpus... plus there's other variables like, room ambient, chassis ambient, fan setup, bios and power settings, blah, blah, blah...

There have been MANY 'high idle' threads like yours involving Ryzen 3000 - and recently Ryzen 5000; it's nothing new.
Check load thermals. If it's below 85C, then cool beans.
