[SOLVED] Is 4400mhz ram likely to work with 9600k

just wondering as above would 4400mhz memory work with a 9600k on a gigabyte aorus pro motherboard im not worried about qvl ect just wondering if anyone knows from experience.
As I want to upgrade to 32gb and the 4400mhz stuff is basically the same price as 3600mhz

If you're on a Z370/Z390 motherboard, then perhaps, it'll also depend on your processor's IMC. Include the make and model of your motherboard and make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for the board.

If your motherboard is the Z390, No RAM at 4400 MHz on the QVL https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_z390-aorus-pro_191108.pdf

Fastest seems to be 4000 MHz (with one model at 4133MHz on the QVL

I know not alot of boards apart from top end ones actually validate ram speeds ect but was just wondering the chances of it working as as I said its the same price as 3600 which I'm currently running so thought it might be worth a go
Currently I have 3600mhz in there and worst case I can just run it at 3600 with the current ram if it doesn't work

The link above I posted has 4133 for the fastest memory supported.

Their other things to consider like the timings of the memory.
