Is 450W bronze enough?

Hi guys,

I'm probably going to buy a gtx1060 together with an i5-6400. Because the PSUs make a pretty big price increase going from 450W to 500W, I am wondering if a Cooler Master 450W bronze PSU will suffice. Any thoughts?

I'm currently planning on buying the Cooler master G450M

Wattage isn't the most important thing. If you're looking for a reliable power supply, you have to focus on the build quality and performance of the power supply.

The CM G450M is sufficient and good enough overall for an i5-6400+GTX 1060.

GeForce GTX 1060 - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
A 450W PSU wlll suffice, while a gold certified will most certainly be a better choice.

My recommendation is a 500-600W Silver certified PSU.
