Is 450W enough for this?

Would a Corsair vx450w be enough for a GTX580, i5 750, h50 liquid cooler, 8GB ram, 1 intel SSD and 4 1850 rpm fans? I am going to use it only in idle for testing.

im pretty sure not, like 99%.
i built a computer for my room mate not too long ago with a 570, core 2 quad and had a 520w psu.
it wasnt the best psu, but not the worst brand and it was running so hot that i had to add a serious fan just for the psu to keep it cool.
tried to add another hdd and it didnt start up. that being said honestly ther could be other things at play but the 580 is a beast.
anyway long story long i def woudnt reccomend.

mm, didnt read you will only be using it on idle, different story ya you should be fine.

no it didnt fail, going strong but was just trying to use an old hdd, could have been corrupt or something else, didnt worry about it too much as i got it for free.

I'm waiting for my AX860W. And in the meantime I am using the Corsair vx450W. I did start up a game earlier and the PSU fan was pretty loud after 10 minutes.
I just needed to ask again, do you think it's okay to play some games with the vx450W? Can a insufficent damage other components?
My components are in the first post, and the GTX580 is slightly factory OC'D.

I just found out that it will take even longer to recieve my Corsair AX860W. So would anyone kindly tell me if it might be okay to play some games like Team Fortress 2 or Counter Strike for example. Those aren't that demanding I guess.

I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance.
