is 4gb enough

Hi,ive bought my son a Toshiba laptop for Xmas,its 4gb ram and 500gb sata hard drive,he will be playing runescape and downloading films,is this big enough? I don't have a clue about any of this,all advice gratefully received

Yes it should be, runescape is no problem for any modern computer and 500gb of storage is plenty for a lot of movies and more.

It should be enough. There is very little difference in gaming performance with ram, and downloading films doesn't really use up ram. The only problem I have found in the past with 4gb of ram is that when you have lots of browser tabs open, it will lag a lot. If he does find it is not enough, with most laptops you can add another 4gb for £20-30.
