is 4gb HBM vram on fury X inuf for 1080p gaming in coming years?

hi, i am building a pc and juz missing gpu after looking around i liked the amd r9 fury x. and now i have just 2 questions.
For the upcoming games in the upcoming years in dx12 and vulkan, will 1070 still be btr than fury x? and is the 4gb HBM vram on the fury x be inuf for 1080p gaming in the future?

(dun care abt power comsumption and bang for buck)

The 1070 is somewhat stronger now at both 1080p and 1440...i don't see that changing with new dx12 stuff to be honest.

Get the 1070.
