[SOLVED] Is 4K TV@60Hz sufficient to do 4K gaming?

Why people need more than double the Hz monitor? Do shooting games greatly benefit from such high refresh rate?

For many people, yes. Also keep in mind that on quite a few systems and TVs the inputs may only to 30hz at 4k.

Edit to add: also the input lag on TVs is usually higher than on monitors.

I 'game' on a 4k TV, however I think it's important to note that I typically don't play the online multiplayer. I do campaign modes.
I have found for the settings I like to run, even with the setup I have on that set, that I prefer to lower to 1080 and max settings for greater draw detail and less frame dip.
