[SOLVED] is 50 dollars expensive for a used computer monitor?

i'm thinking of buying a 10 year old computer monitor (DELL SE198WFP) for 50usd, my dad thinks i should just pay extra for a new monitor, but new monitors are wide screen, they make my eyes uncomfortable with their bright LED lights and they don't have the correct aspect ratio for my old pc games either.

if it were you, would you pay 50usd for an old used pc monitor?

Hard to say if it's worth the price while knowing nothing about this monitor other than that it's 10 years old.

No. You can find this monitor quite easily used or refurbished for $20-$30.

thanks i just needed to hear it from someone i guess. i hesitated to buy it earlier, and i thought i was being a cheapskate.
