So i have that fan profile for my gtx 960 4gb windforce when i play and its under 68 degrees is 50% too much for the gpu fans? or will that degrade them quicklier?
a typical twin bearing fan on a well made gpu is designed to run at 100% for 20-30,000 hours or 5-7 years.
so the fan should in essence outlast the usefulness of the gpu.
fluid dynamic bearing fans will often double or even quadruple that. but less gpu's use them.
if your manually setting fan speeds its basically because your overclocking if not then leave it alone 70-80% is good too keep it cool and no 50% will not harm your fans
