Hello,

I'm planning on changing my stock cpu cooler to a cryorig h7. Because my idle temps are running at 40-50 Celcius and 70-75 if playing. Can i still use my 520w PSU or do i still need to change it.

I checked the wattage needed for H7 and it says 140w TDB. Assuming that i have 300w usage (base on online calculators) plus 140w on H7 it will be at 440w max. And i will only have 80w headroom on my psu.

Can current 520w PSU handle my plan upgrade?

CPU: Intel Core i5 7600 3.5-4.1 ghz 4-core with stock cpu cooler
MOBO: MSI B250M Mortar
Graphics: msi geforce gtx 1060 gaming x 6g or
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-2400 16gb (2x8GB)
SSD: Samsung Evo 850 250gb
HDD: WD Blue 1tb
PSU: Seasonic M12II Evo 520watts 80+ Bronze Full Modular
Casing: Deep Cool Dukase v2/v3

Currently have 5 fans (3 led fans).

Solution
Heh, you're fine. That 140w number is telling you how much heat it's rated to dissipate from the CPU. Ie, it can handle up to a 140w CPU. Not how much power it's expected to consume. According to the specs, it draws .16 Amps, so connected to the 15 V fan header that's only 2.4 watts.
