I have a Psu called the Corsair VS550 and its doing good nothing fishy
I want to add a r9 380 overclocked whose Psu power requirements is 500 watts at the minimum
My specs:
Intel i5 4460
Asus H81M-Plus motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 16gb ram
Antec Truequiet 120mm 2x
AMD r7 360 Overclocked GPU(at the moment) I love it :) uses 500 watts at the minimum like the r9 380 OC :)
Corsair VS550 550 watt PSU
Seagate Barracuda hardrive
Asus VP228H Gaming Monitor 21.5 inch If this matters

Is the PSU enough? if not Ill wait until next year so I can get a PSU I have been spending too much money on my build lately lol xD

:) Thanks so much guys Have a nice day :)

See that PSU might be acting fine, but with an overclocked R9 380 it will most likely fail. those VS series PSU do not have great tenacity when to comes to challenging loads. I would aim for a Corsiar RM or AX or HX or whatever the latest name scheme is or something like and EVGA XFX Superflower, or Seasonic PSU that is at least 80 PLUS BRONZErated. I would say get 600watts just to be safe.

he's talking about the power supply, nothing to do with your cpu

the previous post you made, was answered correctly

he even linked a power supply for you

here are some more good psu's:

or you can simply keep the psu you have already and just get a gtx 960
