Hi! Some time ago I decided to build my own PC. As I am doing this for the first time it took me a while to choose all the parts and make sure that they are compatible with each other but i’ve encountered a problem when it came to the PSU. Basically, I purchased the EVGA 550W G3 but now that I think of it I’m not sure whether I don’t need a PSU with more wattage taking into account my build. So, my question is... with this build do you guys think the 550W is enough or should I opt for more.
Intel Core i5-8600K
Asus Rog Strix Z-390E
EVGA Geforce 1060 6gb
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb DDR4 (2x8)
Samsung 860 Evo 500 gb ssd
Western Digital 1TB 7200 rpm
and of course the EVGA 550W G3.
Also, I think it’s important to add that I would like to look into over clocking in the near future. Thank in advance for your help!
