Question Is 550w good enough?

I did a psu calculator test for my actual system with a potential 1080 ti that I would buy very soon.

Do you think a Seasonic Focus Gold 550w is good enough or I should give it more room in case of a factory OC 1080ti card ?

That PSU is very good quality by the way, but I suggest you grab a slightly higher wattage unit if you want to use GTX 1080 Ti. You will get some extra headroom as well, just in case you want to upgrade in future, and also plan to OC the GPU.

NVIDIA recommends a min 600 Watts PSU for the 1080 Ti. That seasonic Foucs Gold might also do the job, but if you can grab a slightly higher wattage unit, then you don't have to worry much about the power draw.

Focus plus 650 is the minimum id reccomend with a 1080ti. Could you probably get away with the 550w unit since its high quality, probably, but it might cause issues later down the line.

That is an excellent PSU, with higher efficiency that the Focus Gold series.

This is dependent on your other hardware specifications. Please list them. Right now I have a stock Ryzen R7 1700 and a gtx 1080 ti and have had no issues on an EVGA SuperNova G3 550w.

Yeah 650 -750w would be ideal so you have enough overhead for future possible upgrades.
