I am looking to buy a very basic pc for 60+ years old who do basic office, web browsing, youtubes, and some light games (world of tanks/ red aleart), and his curent laptop is i5 laptop and and gpu at that era , ati5000m?

5600g is great, but just too powerful for him..
intel still stays on uhd730 which feels very outdated and slow

is there any place i can find a decent 5300g prebuilt in melbourne?

The 12500/600 non K are in the pipe.
They have the uhd 770 which will be a step up from the 730.
Is that enough video power for the op?.....beats me.
Will you be able to find a prebuilt with one of these cpu's?.....beats me.

The 5600G is the lowest end AMD APU available right now. That's not too powerful for World of Tanks. There may be a 5300G coming but not for a while. What sort of budget is available?

So under 700 aud would be great
So this is a desktop PC? Are you looking for a pre-built or are you assembling the pieces within the tower yourself?

intel really has zero advantages in price when i just want a "office pc"
Didn't I disprove this statement in my previous post build list? Also, going 10th/11th gen Intel would be cheaper still

But yes, if you can find a pre-built with a Ryzen 5300G, that will be best for games. Even though WoT and C&C-RA aren't very demanding (i5-10400 does 120FPS in WoT at 1080p/Low Settings), better is better as long as the price is there.
