Is 60% RAM usage a lot when playing a game like Sims 2?

The computer I play Sims 2 on has 4GB and an AMD graphics card and Windows 10.

When I went to play Sims 2 today, the RAM usage shot up to 59-60 percent. Is this normal usage when playing a game like Sims 2 or is it worrisome?



Thank you both for answering. My computer had a BSOD back in October 2015 and since then, I've been paranoid about every little thing it does. I know, that's not healthy but I can't help it. Again, thank you both for answering.

I don't see any reason why this would be worrisome unless your performance is suffering. It's normal for games to use quite a bit of RAM.

What's there to worry about ? You still have enough free RAM to run another program or two at same time.
I'll never understand obsession with empty RAM, it's just bloody waste.
