Is 650 watts overkill?

I have a pc build on pcpartpicker that takes up about 400 watts. I was thinking of getting a corsair rm650x. Is this too much for my system? Should I get a lower wattage power supply? (I will be overclovking my intel i5 6600k)

Though it isnt 'overkill', it is slightly more than you need.

A more 'suitable' choice would be the EVGA Supernova GS 550.

That said, theres practically no reason you shouldn't get the 650, as long as your not paying too much for it.
