Is 670GB of Temporary files safe to delete?

My 1TB hard drive has almost run out of space so I was trying to see what was taking up all that space and I couldn't figure it out so I googled and found out I should do a disk Cleanup, I opened the disk cleanup program and it's telling me a I have 670GB of temporary files! Is this safe to delete or is it going to delete something I don't want it to.

not sure how you would get 670gb of temp files

i would double check with windirstat you can tell it to open the file locations to see what they actually are

Yes ... You can delete safely except in the folder programData (this folder contains installed software data) ... all temp files will be windows update files not the user files or data files

Run ccleaner, that should clean up all the files that are safe to delete.

That's what Disk cleaner is telling me, I'm try ccleaner to see if it tells me the same thing
