Is 70c too high of cpu temp when gaming?

Hello, I just recently built a pc and I am a little concerned with my temps. I am running a I7-8700k 3.7ghz cpu with a Cooler Master - MasterLiquid 240 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler installed, and I applied the thermal paste as recommended in several videos. I idle at around 37c (while windows is running based on HWMonitor) and I did a load test and saw temps in the lower 80s. Are these temps fine and if not what can I do to fix them? I also have 1 intake case fan and one outtake case fan, with two outtake cpu fans. (update: while running Prime95, I hit 100c in the first test and got nervous so I stopped it, my case fans were pre installed and so were my pump fans)

If your CPU is maxing at 80C on 100% on all cores then you have nothing to worry about (assuming normal room temperature).

Is it possible that your room temperature gets another 20C hotter.

Also you are unlikely to run lon periods where all cores are 100%. Prime is a deliberate torture test.

My environment is maintained at a steady 19c, during the stress test my cpu shot up to 100c eventually. But my real question is if it is healthy to be around 70c when gaming.

19C? You living in the arctic circle?

100C under a heavy load means the cooling is inadequate, however.

For instance, using a tiny AIO designed for 65W on a CPU rated for 95W that can actually dissipate 95-135W, etc...

I don't think a tiny radiator is adequate...

I'd spring for a Noctua NH-D15 (case requires 168 mm mounting height clearance), they cost less and perform better anyway...

You think my Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower Case can fit that puppy?

If you stick with water cooling, you need to force more air through your radiator.

Case inflow fan will have minimal impact.

I would second the NH-D15 in a case with good airflow.
