[SOLVED] Is 750w psu enough headroom for 550w system?

Putting together a new pc (been 8 years since i built my current one lol) and im doing a 12600k +3060ti setup. Pc parts picker estimates 450w of power needed for the entire pc setup. Is a Seasonic Focus plus gold 750w psu enough headroom (i wont be overclocking)? Or should i jump to the 850w version?

Also, is there going to be enough of a difference in my electric bill to justify the $20 extra of going to the platinum rated version of this psu?

I've seen some Focus Plus Gold trip with a 3060 Ti. There must be something better available for a comparable price than Seasonic. Any be quiet! Straight Power 11, Corsair RMx, Bitfenix Whisper, Enermax Revolution D.F., EVGA Supernova G6, Fractal Design ION+, Super Flower Leadex III Gold, Thermaltake GF1 PE or XPG Core Reactor available?

I primarily use Seasonic and I think you’d be OK with Focus Gold 750. As others have noted, a focus gold 850 would leave upgrade capacity.

I’m currently using a Focus Gold 850 on my 5950x which draws over 200 watts with OC and 3080 ti at stock drawing 350 watts.

Some Seasonic Prime/Platinum units have had issues with 3080/3090 card spike power demands - I’d stay with Gold.
