This might be a dumb question but is 75c normal while gaming i have a Ryzen 7 5700 with a tower cooler there also good airflow in total i have 7 120mm fans and i just think i should be getting less temp

What's is the CPU usage while gaming?
In what specific games?

What thermal compound was used?
Was it properly applied, and the cooler properly mounted?

State your PC case model too.

While not bad, you should be getting lower temps than that, specially when gaming. (that would have been reasonable in a benchmark or somthing)

3-it came with my tower cooler which is a id cooling se-214-xt
4-yes im pretty sure

Normal? Well is that full load? If so I'd say thats a good temp.

If its 75C and doing some things, you have to remember the fan speed can play a factor with temps, and every board is different. At 75C I would say your fine, not going to hurt anything and not really worth making it any cooler as you won't gain anything in return, but you can still make it cooler by either making the fan more aggressive if that don't need a better cooler or better airflow through the case.

My 5900x in sig will run into the low 80's at full load, gaming its not uncommon to see 70's as my board I set the fans on my cooler to go to 100% at 75C, my 5500 in my other rig at 4.7ghz is about the same with the little cooler its got on it.

ok thank i was just wondering since i see some yotubers using the same cooler and using a cpu with high tdp having better temp than me

That temp seems fine for a single tower cooler. You might have too many fans and be pulling clean air away from the cooler/causing turbulence. I'm assuming you have the front fans as intake with back and top as exhaust. If that is the case then you'd probably want to remove the front fan in the top.

i have two intakes at the front 2 exhuast on top and 1 at the back

Temperature numbers get flung around the Internet like gorilla poo in a cage. The essence of all the confusion is about attempting to compare different hardware, software workloads and environment variables, so that valid apples to apples comparisons can be made.

Members write into our Forums who live anywhere from the Arctic Circle to the Equator, so ambient (room) temperatures might be anywhere from 10°C (50°F) to 40°C (104°F).

Since ambient temperature directly affects CPU temperatures, it can be a HUGE variable, so it's always necessary to include ambient temperature with your computer specs. If you don't say, and no one asks, then everyone assumes your ambient is "normal", for which the international "standard" is 22°C or 72°F.

So that we don't proceed on false assumptions, what is your ambient room temperature?

Did any of those YouTubers ever think to mention their ambient room temperature?
