[SOLVED] Is 79C too hot for a cpu?

I was running CPUID while running a Cinebench and the max turned out to be 79 C for two of the cores and the rest of the cores were in the mid 70s. Is this too hot? Should I get a new heatsink. My room temp is probably around 22C.

CPU: Intel i5 4690
I’m using an Arctic 11 GT Rev.2

Solution
i5-4690: 84w TDP, at base frequency only
Arctic 11 GT Rev.2: 70w TDP
Arctic Alpine 12 CO: 100w TDP
Antec A30: Can't find much of anything on this, so I'm left guessing... two, 6(?)mm heatpipes, a 92mm fan... MAYBE 120w.
So I did another Cinebench test and the CPU reaches 88~89C. I am concerned.

I think I should buy a new cooler.
I don't know which cpu cooler should I choose between these two:

  1. Arctic Alpine 12 CO
  2. Antec A30

Solution
I'd say thats just acceptable peaking on load, cinebench also likes to ramp to 80's for the duration, since its not very long, thats acceptable. Personally though on a 4770k, for reference, like to keep it 75 max, reaching low 80's on cinebench.

Hows the thermal paste? perhaps re-apply a silver based one?
