Is 8 Gb of Ram plus 4Gb of GDDR5 Ram enough to be gamer plus a countdown maker?

I'm thinking about being a Pc gamer plus a countdown maker, so can anyone tell me if my configuration is good?

Yes.

8 gb ram and a graphics card with 4gb vram is fine.

Some of the newest games seem to use almost all of the 8GB's of RAM unless you shut everything else down while gaming, but still I doubt you'll need more than 8GBs of RAM at least for a couple of years to come.

If you only have two RAM slots in your motherboard, which is unlikely if you have a quality MB, you might want to buy a single 8GB one instead of 2X4GB so you'll have space for an upgrade later if you need it.

As for VRAM, 4GBs is quite enough for any game for now.
