I plan to buy the Moto g2. It has only 8gb and my question is will it be enough for me? I plan to use this phone for about 2 years. I will take about 2 photos every week, but I always clear my phone of useless photos so I will always have like 100-200 photos. I will use apps like snapchat, kik, instagram and some games. I also watch alot of youtube! Alot of youtube! I watch about in total of 15 minutes of videos everyday.

Is 8gb enough?

Solution
8GB is total memory out of which some is dedicated to Android OS and some other system files. So roughly you will have 5.5GB available. Watching Youtube doesn't have to do anything with internal memory because it is online. 200 Photos wouldn't even use 1GB. Apps you listed would consume less than 500MB. Now you would have 3.5-4GB. Now you can put music and games too. Memory used by some games depends on games. Some games like GTA San Andreas use 2GB+, some light games like flappy bird is some KB 😀. So 8GB is fine for you and Moto G supports SD card too, so you don't have to worry.

They also sell a 16gb version of the same phone the xt1063. Both phones have a miniSD slot so you can put as much memory as you want, for example if you place a 8gb miniSD then you have a total of 16gb memory that you can use with the phone.
