Is 8GB enough for Battlefield 1?

Is there a large enough performance gain for me to pay $60 for another 8GB of RAM? (I live in NZ so PC parts are more expensive). My current setup is at i5 4690K @ 4GHZ and a GTX 970 with a +200MHZ overclock. I am running it on a 2560x1080 ultrawide display. Will other games require me to have 16GB of ram? Is it worth upgrading? I plan to be running skype at the same time most of the time. Thanks!

Solution
I run bf1 with discord and normally a chrome tab or 2 open at the same time with 8gb of ram and it hasn't slowed me down, BF1 seems to use around 6gb and currently the game is more cpu bound than anything else so i wouldn't bother personally. I have asked myself the same question a few times and came to the conclusion its not worth it right now.
