Question Is 8gb enough for gaming in this rig?

Hello! I plan on buying gigabyte geforce gtx 1070 g1 gaming 8gb theese days. I have an intel i5 4670 3.4ghz , 8gb of ram running at 1600mhz dual channel and recently bought a new monitor 27inch 2560x1440 60hz . I plan on playing games at max settings in that resolution and on 60fps. Will the amount of ram i currently have be enough for new games? The rest setup is 750watt psu, 1 ssd 120gb and 2 hdds. All inside phanteks enthoo pro tempered glass. Thanks

8GB RAM is enough for most games, but you'd be pushing it to its limit with some games. You'll probably have more issues with your CPU, though. Many games recommend more powerful CPUs than your current one.

One step at a time 😊 about the cpu a nice upgrade i think it will be an i7 because i checked that the i5 7500 that has the same amount of cores and speed as my current has around the performance and score as the one i have

8 GB RAM will work, but you should see some performance increase by doubling it.
(According to tests done by Hardware Unboxed up to 12GB can be used by some games. DDR4 doesn't come in 2 or 6 GB sticks, so 2x8 or 4x4 GB of RAM is recommended.)
