Is 2x4 8gb 3000mhz ram dual channel good enough non-gaming PC ?
Using PC for Dual monitors. One for Netflix and one for web browsing.
Should I just save my money and buy lower ram speed and get 16gb instead ? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

specs:
cpu: 2200g
mobo: ASUS TUF B450M-PLUS mATX
memory: Corsair LPX 3000mhz 2x4 dual
storage: 860 EVO 500GB

For daily use, 8GB is more than enough. You could probably get by with 4GB, but that wouldn't be a great experience.

While Ryzen does benefit from faster memory - especially the APU's with their iGP, even 2x4GB @ 2133MHz would be plenty adequate for the type of use-case you describe.
That being said though, given ~3000MHz is ~$5 more (vs a 2x4GB 2133 or 2400MHz kit), that would be money well spent if you were to even expand what you do with the system, and for future resale value.
