Question Is 8ms really bad?

I mean, 8 ms isn't great, but it's a very basic monitor, and you wouldn't expect a quick response time. Whether you notice or not depends on your reflexes; 8 ms isn't dreadfully slow. One problem is that ms on monitors is quite frequently more a marketing thing than an actual bit of data.

Ok I will continue to investigate because I don't know the brand. Unfortunately where I live now there are not many options.

I found these two options:
Which one is better? There is only 10 euros difference and 2 inches xD

EDIT: And this option for 99 eur

Hey there,

Out of the 3 options, I'd go for the middle one. Although slightly smaller, it's an IPS panel, with 75hz. Nothing spectacular, but it does actually feel a little smoother than 60hz.

The first one is a VA panel type. I'm not fond of them. Yes you get better contrast, but for me the colours are better on IPS type.

It depends on what you need. All we have to go on is you play a few games which probably require a higher refresh rate. In that case 8ms would be terrible as you would get ghosting.
Monitors have tradeoffs between color accuracy, contrast, refresh rate, longevity, and price. At such a low price point, your not going to get atleast one of these. With a high refresh rate, even the cheap IPS panels have poor color reproduction. With this in mind I would opt for the VA panel.

I also found this monitor at a good price:

AOC 22B2DA 21.5” FHD 4ms VA-Panel VGA/HDMI/DVI LED Monitor with Speakers

I live on an island and there are not many options :s

With those options I would opt for one of the 24" monitors. Both should serve their function well. To me, I think the 2" of extra screen size is also good.
A VA panel from Samsung or an IPS from BenQ. The BenQ will have more accurate colors, and the VA will have more contrast. Just depends on your preference.
