[SOLVED] is a 1920 x 1080 resolution noticeable from a 1360 x 768 ?

I'm thinking of upgrading my monitor but I want to get my money's worth, I'm thinking of getting this monitor:

Will I be able to notice the difference between 1080p and 720p resolutions?
I'm using the displays for gaming and general use.

Like night and day. There is really no comparison. Your lower resolution monitor will look like a bad day in minecraft world compared to a 1080p monitor.

That Viewsonic monitor should be a nice improvement over your current unit, by miles.

Keep in mind though, the higher the resolution, the higher the demand on your graphics card, so don't expect to get identical performance from a specific GPU card when you jump up in resolution. Still, at 1080p you can probably drop quality settings if you had to and STILL look better than it did on that 720p monitor.
