Im confused on which to purchase between Acer Nitro VG240Y S versus Acer Nitro VG270 S.

Both have 165hz 0.5 ms response time. That refresh rate does not really matter too much for me since i am not a competetive gamer but i like to have 144hz+ monitor since they are super cheap nowadays. 24'' will cost me 144$ & the 27'' will be 172$. Both prices are fine for me. I have read some posts in quora and reddit people complaining about 27'' monitors pixels look too big in 1920x1080. Most of them prefer 24" over 27" for 1080p gaming. Which one should i go for?

For more info I mostly play single player games & some online games with friends like gta, wildlands , rdr2 , Ac... and for work i do trading full time.
I sit in 1.5ft distance from my monitor and my pc is not that good so any suggestions would be very helpful.

PC Specs:
Asus Prime H610M-E D4
Intel 12400F CPU
Sapphire 6500 XT GPU
GSkill 8x2 - 16 gb 3200mhz RAM
Crucial 1tb M.2 SSD
Crucial 500gb M.2 SSD
Crucial 500gb SATA SSD
corsair vs 550 PSU
corsair 500R case

i would suggest looking for a review or 2 for the 27" monitor. professional reviews and not some random youtube video or redit post.

if it is an issue with the monitor it will come up in the reviews. that's about the best you can do for such info. i am not sure you can apply a blanket statement to all 27" 1080p screens, or at least i have not read anything to suggest it is universal. so i'd look at that specific monitor and see what some pros said about it.

not sure if it applies here, but I'm using am IO-Data 27 inch monitor to play games in 1080p. Have not got any problems so far. And it's already three years. I game everyday, usually fighting games with online friends and friends irl.

sitting as far away from the screen as the control pad would allow during gaming. And I wear protective eyeglasses.
