Is a 3 acceptable for HTC Vive?

My PC got a 3.2 on the Steam VR Performance test, should I even be considering buy an HTC Vive? Working in an Alienware laptop so parts are non-upgradable, just wondering if I can handle the HTC.

Fairly certain that means it is not capable. You definitely will not get a good experience which is very important for VR,
