is a 500w PSU enough for a 980ti?

-I want to buy a gtx 980ti graphics card
-I have a 500w PSU

Do i need to get a PSU with more watts or the one i have will be fine?

This is an acceptable PSU for a single 980 Ti. If you wish to SLI you'll want something like these

For about as good of a PSU as you'll probably need unless you're doing 3-4 way SLI...
If your PSU has sufficient power connectors and wattage on the 12v rail, then it will be fine. What model is your PSU?

I haven't seen many 500W models that feature 6+2 connectors for PCI-e, but the higher end ones featuring modular cables stand a good chance.
 



Ill change the psu, can you tell me one that will work with the 980ti? (appropriate connections and wattage)
